In past years, this programmatic document was defined as LDP (Local Development Program).

LDS 2023 – 2027

“far from the margins: communities at the centre”

All of the LAG’s upcoming actions are guided by the Local Development Strategy (LDS), which is the “plan” through which methodology, goals and activities are set.

The LDS designed by the LAG Tradizione delle Terre Occitane for the period 2023-2027 has as its primary objective the regeneration of local communities to revitalize the territory, create employment and improve the general living conditions in mountain areas.

The LAG therefore intends to support initiatives that arise from the communities in the area, fostering exchange, discussion and cooperation.

The LDS 2023-2027 focuses on interventions aimed at:

  • the development of a new vision of sustainable tourism that is a direct consequence of the enhancement of local agricultural and handcrafted production, of landscape and of the Occitan culture.
  • the implementation of services dedicated to the resident population and businesses to promote the well-being of the inhabitants and the attractiveness of the territory.

LDP 2007-2013

Being a community to be competitive

For the 2007-2013 LDP, the unifying strategic theme was BEING A COMMUNITY TO BE COMPETITIVE.

Having ascertained that the identity, culture and history of a territory are the basis of its social, economic and cultural growth, the process of transition to excellence can only be promoted and can only bring benefits if it is supported by the involvement of the entire local community which nourishes, preserves, interprets and re-proposes, every day, the heritage of local values and expressions that allow the Occitan Valleys to remain unique and distinctive.
